PRE ACTION SYSTEM

Pre-action fire sprinkler systems employ the basic concept of a dry pipe system in that water is not normally contained within the pipes. The difference, however, is that water is held from piping by an electrically operated valve, known as a pre-action valve. Valve operation is controlled by independent flame, heat, or smoke detection.

DELUGE SYSTEM

Deluge systems are systems in which all sprinklers connected to the water piping system are open, in that the heat sensing operating element is removed, or specifically designed as such. These systems are used for special hazards where rapid fire spread is a concern, as they provide a simultaneous application of water over the entire hazard. They are sometimes installed in personnel egress paths or building openings to slow travel of fire (e.g. openings in a fire-rated wall).

WATER MIST SYSTEM

Water mist is a versatile and highly efficient fire-fighting medium. A water mist system is a fire protection system which uses very fine water sprays (i.e. water mist). The small water droplets allow the water mist to control, suppress or extinguish fires by:
• cooling both the flame and surrounding gases by evaporation
• displacing oxygen by evaporation
• attenuating radiant heat by the small droplets themselves

WET CHEMICAL FIRE SUPPRESSION SYSTEMS

The systems are ideally suited to meet the demands associated with today’s busy catering facilities an important characteristic of grease fires is auto-ignition. Cooking grease at room temperature is not a problem. Its vapours, for example, are not easily ignited. The Wet Chemical Extinguishing agent is a potassium carbonate-based solution which is discharged as fine droplets into a protected area. The main extinguishing action is by cooling caused by the heat of vaporization. The fine spray discharge prevents the dangerous splash of hot grease or thermal shock damage to cooking appliances.

FIRE HOSE REEL CABINET

Fire hose cabinet gathers firefighting equipment for ready condition as well as protecting them from contamination or theft. It follows Class II or Class III requirement of NFPA 14 specification to store hose rack assembly, with or without fire department valve.

CENTRAL BATTERY SYSTEM

A central battery system is a system where an electrical supply is distributed to luminaires from a central battery source in the event of a power failure. This system is used to power emergency lights and exit signs in administrative and educational buildings, hospitals, and high-rise buildings. It is powered by a standard power source. When the main supply fails, the central batteries are automatically converted from the main supply to the central battery power.

Beam smoke detector works on the principle of light obscuration, where there is a transmitter that emits beam and a beam receiver Beam smoke detectors are commonly used in warehouses as a cost-effective way of fire detection and protecting large open areas and inappropriate for outdoor applications. It consists of transmitter/receiver unit and a reflector.

VESDA SYSTEM

VESDA Systems are aspirating smoke detection used for early warning applications where response to a fire is critical. the air sample is passed through to the calibrated detection chamber where it is exposed to a laser light source. The VESDA detectors are able to communicate this information to a fire alarm control panel, a software management system or a building management system via relays or a High Level Interface (HLI).

FOAM SYSTEM

Foam systems are used in control and extinguishment of fires by foam, where in foam is preferred extinguishing agent. Foam-Sprinkler systems are commonly used in places that are considered high hazard areas, such as chemical storage and handling areas, LNG manufacturing and storage areas, power plants, aircraft hangars, warehouses, elevator and machine rooms, generator rooms, etc.

FM 200

FM200 is a synthetic/chemical fire suppression gas and extinguishes a fire by removing the free radicals or heat elements from the fire triangle. (Oxygen, Heat and Fuel). FM200 fire suppression is found as an active compound as a propellant in medical inhalers. This is goes without saying that FM200 gas is extremely safe for occupied spaces with the correct fire suppression design.

FIRE PUMP SYSTEM

Fire pump systems are water-based fire protection systems. They help to distribute water throughout the sprinkler system so every part of the building is protected in case of a fire. Fire pumps are needed when the local municipal water system cannot provide sufficient pressures to meet the hydraulic design requirements of the fir e sprinkler system.

FIRE HYDRANT SYSTEM

Fire hydrant system is a safety measure or emergency equipment required in some buildings that comprises a series of components that when assembled together provide a source of water to assist fire authorities in a fire.

SUPPRESSION SYSTEM

Fire suppression is the act of reducing the impact of a fire that has already started by keeping it contained to a certain area and extinguishing it. From the moment of discovery until the fire is entirely put out, all efforts and actions related to controlling and extinguishing it are considered to be part of fire suppression. Fire suppression system uses gaseous, chemical, or foam fire suppression agents to suppress the fire, rather than water.

SPRINKLER SYSTEM

Sprinkler system, in fire control, a means of protecting a building against fire by causing an automatic discharge of water, usually from pipes near the ceiling. These systems are activated by heat or smoke (or both).

FIRE FIGHTING SYSTEM

A firefighting system is an activity of prevention during a fire spread in building, home or warehouse with the use of proper fire safety equipment like extinguisher, hose reels, fire monitors, nozzles and hose pipes. Most firefighting consists of applying water to the burning material, cooling it to the point at which combustion is no longer self-sustaining.

EMERGENCY EXIT LIGHT

Exit and emergency lights are designed to guide you to safety in the event of an emergency .The primary purpose of emergency lighting is to provide sufficient lighting so that occupants can evacuate from a building safely, and to illuminate other general fire safety features. A fire exit light indicates where all of the exits are located in the event a fire breaks out

VOICE EVACUATION AND FIREMAN TELEPHONE

Fire alarm voice evacuation system uses speakers and amplifiers to notify occupants with an alarm tone followed by a voice instead of the traditional horn or bell .These systems are critical to help in emergency or fire situations. They provide clearly understandable voice messages to help people evacuate an area to safety without experiencing panic.

BREAK GLASS

A Break Glass Call Point is a device which enables personnel to raise the alarm by breaking the frangible element on the fascia. They are normally placed in exits, landings, fire escapes or near areas of high risk.

HEAT DETECTOR

A heat detector is a fire alarm device designed to respond when the convected thermal energy of a fire increases the temperature of a heat sensitive element. Heat detectors are typically used in areas where smoking is permitted or in other situations where a smoke detector could be inadvertently actuated by processes taking place in the building. For example, in kitchens there may be regular emissions of smoke.
